The students currently working on the project at Birmingham Metropolitan College have come up with 6 themes from the 'Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union' that they would like to develop further with the students from Spain, Germany and Romania.
The themes are:
- Article 1: Human dignity
- Article 3: Right to the integrity of the person
- Article 8: Protection of Personal Data
- Article 11: Freedom of expression and information
- Article32: Prohibition of Child Labour and Protection of Young People at work
- Article 21: Non-discrimination
These are the themes that the students had a personal interest and desire for greater understanding off.
They are now starting to research further into the themes to find out further information, and await the response from their fellow students.
